What's been "weighing" on me.

The people close to me know that I have always "yo-yoed" my weight. It's always been gain & then lose, gain & then lose again. About a year ago I started living a much healthier lifestyle and lost almost 15 pounds just in time for my wedding. After the wedding, for some stupid reason, I gave up that healthy lifestyle and gained ALL of the weight back. I am so embarrassed by more poor decisions and have been feeling awful lately. Not only has it affected my outward appearence but it has done something awful to me on the inside. I feel so unmotivated in my personal and work life, I've become extremely unorganized, & lately I don't feel like being around people because I'm so embarrased of the weight that I have gained. I'm so disappointed in myself for shoveling garbage into my body because that's exactly what I've been getting out of it... GARBAGE. Today I am making a change. After hours of praying about it I sat down and wrote a list of reasons why I need to live a healthier lifestyle...
1. My body is a temple. This body was God given - It is a vessle that he has allowed me to live in to live out his purpose.
2. My Husband. Deric is awesome!!! He loves me unconditionally and every day he compliments me on how beautiful he thinks I am. BUT for me to love him fully & to emotionally be the best wife I can be I must learn to love myself enough to take care of my health.
3. When you put good in you get good out. physically & emotionally. It is a proven fact.
4. I'm tired of short term satisfaction because it's not getting me anywhere closer to my long term goals.
5. Deric & I want to have a family. I have got to get a hold on this now so that I'm not in big trouble when we do decide to start a family. I also want to make sure that I am healthy so that I can be around as long as possible to raise our children.
Those are just a few of the things I listed. Just to let you all know, I am not an expert on losing weight. When I lost all of that weight before I cut out almost ALL processed food & sweets & I tried to portain my meals correctly. I also went from eating two huge meals & snacking to eating 3 good sized healthy meals with 4 small healthy snacks inbetween.
SO as i go on this journy I'll be updating on here to hold myself accoutable. Tonight I did some food prepping... Below you can see the photo of the lunches I've prepped & one of my favorite snacks (mixed fresh fruit)

I put two large (frozen) chicken breasts in the crock pot for 5 hours (on high). I love doing this because I don't have to cut any of the fat off. By the time they're done cooking the fat has melted right off. Tonight I just put some seasoning salt on the chicken. I cut each chicken in half & tossed it in the tupperware ;)
Next I cooked two sweet potatoes and cut both of those in half and tossed them into the tupperware. I put a very small dab of real butter on the sweet potatoes with some salt & pepper.
To finish it off I sauteed some aspargus & garlic in a lil bit of olive oil. YUM!
So that will be my lunch for the next 4 days :) For one of my snacks I cut up strawberries, apples, kiwi, & mango. Again, YUM!
I got some yummy stuff figured out for breakfast as well. I'll probably write about that tuesday!
